We were hoping for more traffic, but we still had a GREAT TIME and raised over $13,000. We are still waiting for the final totals.

Some of the large items did not sale at the benefit and we will be putting them on e-bay to be pruchased and all process will go to the benefit. look for updated information concerning these items.

The McDougal Family Benefit Concert

A House For My Kids

Saturday, April 26th

This fun-packed musical event is being held as a benefit for Mt Juliet Residents "The McDougal Family."All proceeds and donations are to be made out to First Baptist Church, in the post script on the check, please designate it for "The McDougal Fund". If you would like to give to this great cause, send checks to First Baptist Church c/o The McDougal Fund" P O Box 226, Mt. All money and donations will go to help build a new specially-equipped home for their children. You see, three of their four children have been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and because of the oldest son’s current struggle with a mold called Aspergillus, it is now imperative to get the children into a house that is not as prone to mold, dust and other such allergens. As our Progress in the project of raising money for not The McDougal kids, but others like us, we will update this blog and show the progress we are making on a weekly basis. So PLEASE tell everyone you know about us.

P.S. We will donate any of the proceeds that are left over to the Nashville chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for research and in the near future we hope to set up a non profit agency ourselves, designed to directly help other CF families improve their home environments.

Proclamation

On April 14, 2008 Mayor Elam proclamed April 26, 2008 as the McDougal Day in Mt Juliet.

After Mayor Elam finished, Greg made such a touching speech,

it was hard to hold back the tears.

We are just SO GLAD to see what GOD is doing on a daily basis.

We are receiving donations and items for the auctions daily, if not hourly.

God is so GOOD!

But that's not all of the GOOD NEWS,

Susan Lynn is working on proclaming April 26th, 2008 at the state level too.

Classic Cars

We will have classic cars on display, so bring one bring all and "talk about the good ole days" when gas was .25 and gas milage was only 10 mpg.
